Terms of use

Draft, under review. Until it is final, write to [email protected] with any question about these terms.

Who we are

SnapSelf is a service of Appishore. It lets photography studios share the photos from an event with the people who attended it. These terms apply to studios and their staff who create an account.

Your account

The person who creates a studio becomes its owner and is responsible for the staff they invite and what they do in it. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used them.

Photos you upload

You upload only photos you have the right to share. Face recognition runs on the photos of an event so its guests can find themselves; you tell your clients that you use SnapSelf to deliver their photos. To be confirmed: Who owns the uploaded photos and the licence the studio grants us to store and show them.

Guests and their data

Guests choose to take a selfie and can delete their data from the gallery at any time. You will not use SnapSelf to identify people who did not attend the event, and you will not use guest data for marketing without their consent. See the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

No unlawful content, no content you were not entitled to take or share, no attempts to reach another studio's data, and no automated use that loads the service beyond normal studio work.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are bought for a fixed term by UPI and start once the payment is confirmed. Nothing renews or is charged automatically. Plan limits are shown on the pricing page and in Billing. To be confirmed: Refunds, taxes on the price, and changing plan part way through a term.

When a plan ends

To be confirmed: What happens to galleries, guest access and stored photos when a paid term ends, and for how long they are kept.

Where data is kept

Hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Germany and Finland).

Changes and contact

We will tell studio owners by email before these terms change in a way that affects them. Questions: [email protected].To be confirmed: Governing law and courts, and liability limits.
